Great service and the best prices around, I would high recommend these guys.
Excellent professional service and reasonable prices
I hate being the guy that had the one bad experience and then gives a bad review, but by far the worst experience I've ever had. I'm military that was stationed in Connecticut. About a month ago, a friend and I stayed the night in Providence and when we went to head back to CT, my car went half power and was misfiring so I assumed it was the coils. It was on Memorial day so this shop was the only one around that would even see me. And I was very thankful for that, still am. He replaced the two bad coils, car was great. Well today, in Florida (I'm home for a short vacation before being stationed elsewhere) the exact thing happened. It was the other two coils. Not his fault, I fixed them. (for a fraction of the price I might add..) what I am angry about is my taillight. When I dropped off my car, I mentioned that my passenger side brake light was not working. The taillight was fine. Which is strange because it's a dual circuit bulb, meaning that the brakelight and taillight are the same bulb, it just goes brighter when the brakes are pressed. I also knew for a fact it wasn't the bulb, they were brand new LED's which I also put in the driver's side to clarify that it wasn't the bulb. So he said he'd take a look at it. A few hours later I pick up the car and he says the brake light is all good. I pay $300 and then he asks "who replaced the bulb" I said it was me. He says "well you put it in backwards" which shocked me being that it makes NO sense. There is no right or wrong way to put the bulb in. It pops in either way. With him implying that I was an imbecile, I just kindly walked out. If he said he fixed it, whatever. The next day back in Connecticut I decide to make sure he was correct. He was absolutely NOT. All he did was switch the problem. For the past month now I've had a brake light working great, but no taillight. He didn't fix anything, he moved it. Maybe he's an idiot, I don't know. Maybe he lied, maybe he genuinely thought he fixed it. I can't speak for him. But what angers me, is what kind of professional mechanic opens a tailight housing, messes with things, and then doesn't make sure everything works 100% before you charge your customer and tell them you fixed it? It's sloppy and unprofessional. Would you change coils and then not start to the car to make sure it works? Of course not. I simply don't recommend them, especially for anything electrical, because he was slightly rude, unprofessional and lied to my face. I'm giving two starts simply because he was did pop the coils in (which is pretty simple) although usually you should replace all 4 at the same time so the others don't go bad a week later..
