I have a VW passat 2.0T, 2006, 88000 miles.
I finally find this little automotive and check my car by chance. I park my car along the Taunton Ave., and on the way to Bank of America, there was a very pretty classic rag top Beatles attracted me. I stopped by and talked to the owner and referred to my car. The owner of this Auto repair came out his workshop and test my car by an electronic machine. The code showed my engine run lean. So they test the engine section by section carefully. And found out the pipe to absorb air into the cylinder had broken, although I was busy, they made pics of the hole, and showed me where the crack was. My car finial fixed at the price of $180 within 6 hours. Feeling my engine rotation speed steadily increased, I finally released from the engine light nightmare.
My engine light turned on. So I went to the 4S store, which is on 260 Newport Avenue, East Providence. I spent round $400 to change something, the engine bumps up on the second day. I made appointment on next week, they said my Timing chain need to be change, or my engine will explode. By replacing a timing chain, it cast me $1398. But the engine light turns out again within 1 week, I wen the 4S again, they said something is leaking, I need to change it. I spend $300. But engine light comes out again in 3 days. I am pilot student, so I know a basic theory of how the engine works. I can tell my engine runs lean during the whole time. Every time I press my accelerator, my engine speed easily went to 3000-5000, that's abnormal.
