Seriously, for me, Ed Simpson took ALL of the stress of tax time away. As long as Ed is in business, I will continue to go to him. He makes it so easy, it's almost comical to watch my friends and family stress over their taxes. I just tell them "You should go see Ed, one of the best things I've ever done."
Really, what I enjoy about Ed is that he is quick, personable, intelligent, good at his job, and a CERTIFIED accountant. He tells us of the conferences that he goes to, and he tells us how the law has changed from year to year. He also gives us advice on how we should file for the up-coming year, depending if we are going to switch jobs, or get a raise.

We decided to go to Ed the following year. He sat us down, took our receipts and forms and asked a few questions. Thirty minutes later, all of my information was entered in and I had a great refund coming back! My fiance has a bit more complicated return, which involves deductions. No problem for Ed. He took the time and went through each one, and soon enough my fiance also received a great refund.
I asked Ed if he could look at my previous year's return. He took all my information (I came prepared) and he said that yes, he could re-file them and get me a larger return. I was thrilled!
So glad I decided to have Ed take care of my taxes this year! I usually do them on my own... But being a first time home buyer I was nervous this time! He was very helpful and knew about things that I would have never even picked up on. I'm glad I didn't decide to go to a big tax company like H&R Block who are way overpriced! Ed was affordable and personable and it's always great to have somebody who's been doing it for 30 years! Nothing but good feedback... Definitely would recommend him... I can't stress how easy Ed makes tax season. My fiance and I started seeing Ed 4 years ago. Previously, we had lived in two different states, with two different jobs. So we had a heck of a time doing our taxes. Every year, I would sit down sometime during the end of March, purchase the latest tax software, and spend hours going over it, hoping I did it right. Usually by the end of 10 hours of doing my returns, I would be frustrated, angry, and in tears. Needless to say, it was extremely stressful.
